Borrowed Forever

Pass one device between two neighbours with suspiciously similar possessions. Secretly return a real loan or bluff with a personal item, then let the owner choose whether to spend a scarce inspection ticket. Later rounds add incomplete tool sets and ownership tags that can fool a shallow inspection.
Controls
- Touch, mouse or keyboard
- Use the covered handoff before viewing private choices. Choose a bag with 1 to 3 and seal with Enter. The owner accepts with A or inspects with I. Later B adds a missing battery, T adds an ownership tag and D performs a deep audit. Space continues. Every action also has a touch button.

- P or Escape pauses. M toggles sound. Replay the same challenge or start a new one after your run.
Tips for Borrowed Forever
- Inspections carry across the whole match. An honest return earns extra compensation when needlessly inspected, while a caught bluff loses everything that turn.
- Each player has two spare batteries for three linked set rounds. Complete a drill set, return the other tool, or bluff with the incomplete set. The owner sees both outstanding loan values.
- An ownership tag fools a shallow inspection. A deep audit sees through it but costs two tickets. Tags are also limited.

How many players can play?
Two people take turns on one device. The covered handoff tells you when to pass it and when the other player should look away.
Is either player advantaged by going first?
Each player gets five borrower turns and five owner decisions with matching loan values. The first borrower alternates between rounds.
Does it use an online connection?
No. Both players share the same screen and take turns. No account or room code is needed.
