Petty Garden
by Jamplo
Take turns fitting shaped planters onto one shared balcony. Grow connected flower groups, block your neighbour and score both gardens after each pair of turns. Later matches add contested beehives and a moving shade forecast that makes flowers and ferns compete for different spots.
Controls
- Touch, mouse or keyboard
- Tap a planter, tap an empty starting cell, rotate if needed, then Plant. Player 1 uses 1 to 3 to choose, W A S D to move, R to rotate and F to plant. Player 2 uses 7 to 9, the arrows, L and Enter.
- Every game
- P or Escape pauses. M toggles sound. Replay the same challenge or start a new one after your run.
Tips for Petty Garden
- Each healthy plot scores one point, plus the size of your largest connected group. Both players score after every pair of turns.
- A healthy flower beside a beehive earns three bonus points. Your neighbour can compete for the same hive.
- Check the awning forecast. Flowers need sun and ferns need shade. A stressed plant stays on the board but does not score that round.
FAQ
How many players can play?
Two neighbours take turns on one device. All board information is public, so no hidden handoff is needed.
Is the board fair?
Obstacles and beehives form a symmetric layout. Both players receive the same planter choices in each round, and the first player alternates.
When does the match end?
Play six rounds or until the balcony is full. The higher total harvest score wins. Either winner unlocks the next generated balcony.
