Two Left Feet
by Jamplo
Two players control one shoe each in a cooperative ballroom routine. Read the forecast footprints and land during the green cue. Later dances add ordered crossovers and freeze beats that reward dramatic stillness rather than another step.
Controls
- Touch, mouse or keyboard
- Drag your own shoe onto its matching outlined footprint and release while the cue says STEP. Player 1 uses W A S D and F to land. Player 2 uses the arrows and Enter. Both players move to begin. Sound is optional because every beat is visible.
- Every game
- P or Escape pauses. M toggles sound. Replay the same challenge or start a new one after your run.
Tips for Two Left Feet
- Prepare your target before the cue turns green. The first two steps give extra time.
- During ordered crossovers, the named lead player must land first. Both players still need to land before the beat ends.
- Freeze means no landings. Keep the shoes still even when you expect another step.
FAQ
Can both players use touch at once?
Yes. Each player grabs their own shoe. Their touch keeps control even when the shoes cross sides.
Do we need to hear the music?
No. A visible countdown and STEP or FREEZE cue provide all the timing information.
How do we win together?
Coordinate eight of twelve beats on Chill, ten on Spicy or eleven on Chaos. The generated routine always uses reachable foot positions.
